Our volunteers are at the heart of all we do

The Estuary League of Friends is always eager to welcome fresh faces to its team to help us provide care and comfort to those in need in our community. Whether you’re looking to give something back to the community, learn new skills, gain work experience, complete your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or just looking for something new and immensely satisfying to do with your time, we would love to hear from you! We are always on the lookout for volunteer drivers, home visitors and helpers in our busy charity shops in Fore Street, Topsham, and Topsham Library.

We provide training or development programmes as well as opportunities to spend time with unique, interesting people – our clients, other volunteers and staff alike.

All volunteers are required to complete an application form and to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check if their role involves working with vulnerable adults.

If you are interested in the rich and rewarding experience of volunteering for a charity, look no further than Estuary!  Call us today on 01392 879009, we’re eager to hear from you.
