Volunteering is at the heart of our work.

Estuary League of Friends is always eager to welcome fresh faces to its team, and for them to assist us in upholding the charity’s key principles of trust, care and rapport within our community. Whether you’re looking to give something back to your local community, looking for work experience on a Gap Year, or just looking for a change of pace to your life, we would love to hear from you. We are always on the lookout for volunteer drivers, home visitors and volunteer staff for our busy charity shops in Fore Street, Topsham and Topsham Library.

We support our volunteers fully: whether you need training or development programmes, or just opportunities for socialising with a whole host of unique, interesting characters: clients, other volunteers and staff alike.

All of our volunteers are required to complete an application form, and, if their role involves working with vulnerable adults, to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

If you are over 14 and want the satisfaction of making a difference to the lives in your community, and are interested in volunteering for a charity which can offer a rich, rewarding experience, look no further than Estuary:  Telephone us on 01392 879009 –  we’re eager to hear from you.
